An announcement by the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) on 25 August 2022 confirmed the approval and US Congress had been notified the same day for the sale of 40 UH-60M Black Hawk utility helicopters to replace the Army MRH-90 Taipan fleet subject to approval.

29 Airframes to be acquired under LAND 4503 Phase 1 to replace the Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter with deliveries to commence in the 3rd quarter of 2025.
