Collided in Mid-air with DH-60 VH-UAV 19/06/37 near Archerfield QLD. killing both pilots.

A7-8 DH.60X Cirrus Moth ? Force Landed 21/02/29 Richmond NSW, after Striking a farmer during low level flight. The Pilot Sgt Robert F Somerville flew too low and struck his future father in law Mr AC Smith and killed him. Sgt Sommerville was charged with Manslaughter but was acquitted, and was reduced in rank and grounded. Later he regained flying status.

A7-10 DH.60X Cirrus Moth ? Crashed 05/01/30,
Served with 1 Sqn.
Crashed about 1.5 kms from Laverton after striking a haystack and shearing of the undercarriage while performing at low level without authorisation. The aircraft crashed a short distance from the haystack and was destroyed. FLGOFF Ryan survived the impact and was critically injured and later died of those injuries in Caulfield Repatriation Hospital two days later.

Registered VH-UPY 03/06/31 to 02/06/32, 28/06/32 to 27/06/33 and 23/04/34to 21/05/39.
12/05/39 A pilot who was not an instructor was giving flight instructions and the aircraft crashed at Roma QLD. The pilot died and pupil survived.

Both Fltlt CT Anderson (Pilot) and AC1 LL Colless survived the accident however Colless died the next day.

FLGOFF Warland remained trapped inside the aircraft and perished despite the efforts of FLTLT Swinbourne to enter the wreckage to save his passenger, receiving severe burns in doing so. Ironically, at the time of the accident FLTLT Swinbourne was the Secretary of the Air Accidents Investigation Committee.

Crashed 06/12/32, Richmond, NSW. While conducting Forced landing practice at an strip at Richmond the aircrafts wheels struck a fence and the aircraft crashed. Killed instantly was Pilot Flgoff Charles M Blamey and AS John Plumb was injured. Flgoff Blamey was the son of Field Marshall Sir Thomas Blamey the then Commissioner of Police in Victoria.

Free issue to Royal Queensland Aero Club and reg VH-AFN on 27.6.1945. VH-AFN is flying now as one of the 23 aircraft of the Early Birds Foundation at Lelystad, Netherlands. The present registration is N168G. After a serious crash with only minor injuries for pilot and passenger, the aircraft underwent a complete restoration. Since 2001 she is in the air again.

Crashed Werribee Vic 24/4/36. Two aircraft in formation at 4000ft, one departed from controlled flight. Pilot Cadet Leslie Clisby abandoned aircraft in dive following control problems. The investigation found that the cause was result of this aircraft flying into the slipstream of the lead aircraft, resulting in the "temporary loss" of controlled flight and that he could have recovered.

It was sold to the Australian Aero Club (WA division) on 24/07/31

The aircraft struck a down current when taking off 01/11/30 and struck a fence.
The aircraft was also put in a spin 15/12/30 and crashed into mangroves north of the Barron River near Stratford Bridge QLD. Pilot and passenger injured.
Registered VH-UOK 18/06/31 to 22/07/40.
Failed to recover from a dive 09/10/38 and crashed. The pilot and passenger were killed.
Impressed into RAAF Service 22/07/40.

A7-112 D.H.60G Gipsy Moth 878 Built at Stag Lane (UK) and assembled by DHA South Melbourne in 05/27 using locally made upper mainplane and tail unit.
Test flown by Major H De Havilland at Essendon on 01/06/27.
Registered G-AUFV 01/06/27.
Modified to DH.60G (Gipsy 1) on 21/02/39.
Collided with Monospar VH-UST 19/11/39over Mascot and heavily damaged.
Reg cancelled 19/08/40and impressed into RAAF as A7-112 in UNSERVICEABLE condition.
Returned to Royal Aeroclub of NSW for repair on 16/10/40.
RESTORED to VH-UFV 31/01/41, thus never taken up by the RAAF!
It had various owners and accidents until the reg VH-UFV again was reserved for it 15/03/84.
VH-UFV was finally registered to a J C Star, Walbundrie, NSW on 08/12/94. C/N 1B Registered VH-ULU on 19/02/03.
