Built at the Eurocopter factory in Marignane in France.
Arrived in Australia on 14 November 2008 and the aircraft was accepted by the Commonwealth on 8 December 2008.
Operated by 808Sqn RAN.
Noted in Navy Markings at Canberra in 2020.
Aircraft retired in 2024 and disposed of.

Built at the Eurocopter factory in Marignane in France.
Arrived in Australia 13/11/07, transported by a leased Antonov transport and unloaded at Brisbane airport.
Delivered in Camo scheme with the word 'Navy' on the boom and large 002 on the rear fuselage.
Accepted by ADF 18/12/07.
Operated by 808Sqn RAN and 5 Aviation Regiment Australian Army.
2009 in Navy Markings

2011 in Army markings.
Noted in Navy markings in Brisbane 22/09/16.
Noted in Navy markings at Avalon Airshow 2017.

F-ZWRU Built at the Eurocopter factory in Marignane in France.
Arrived in Australia on Sunday 22 June 2008 aboard a C17 Globemaster (A41-206) from 36 Squadron RAAF.
Arrived in camo scheme with 'Army' on the boom and large 004 on the rear fuselage.
Maiden test flight, 23 September 2008.
The aircraft was subsequently allotted to A Squadron, 5 Aviation Regiment in Townsville however, we do not know when the aircraft was accepted by the Commonwealth (Department of Defence) nor do we know when the aircraft was ferried to Townsville.

This Aircraft was involved in an incident near Canberra which started a major bushfire.
The aircraft was damaged during the incident. (Can you provide more details?)

Photos taken at EADS Donauworth.
The test flights weree being performed under German military regulations, hence a mandatory German serial and national markings.

A40-047 TAUA47   This was provided to the Australian Government as compensation for the issues this MRH90 program had. This aircraft was retired from the Australian Army and sold back to the manufacturer to be used as a training and test aircraft.
