The investigation found that the cause was result of this aircraft flying into the slipstream of the lead aircraft, resulting in the "temporary loss" of controlled flight and that he could have recovered. |

RESTORED to VH-UFV 31/01/41, thus never taken up by the RAAF!
It had various owners and accidents until the reg VH-UFV again was reserved for it 15/03/84.
VH-UFV was finally registered to a J C Star, Walbundrie, NSW on 08/12/94. C/N 1B Registered VH-ULU on 19/02/03.
