From time to time, the Australian military formations have operated aircraft outside the Australian Military register.

These include aircraft that have been leased, captured, loaned, "borrowed", evaluated, operated on the Australian Civilian Register, or continued to operate under previous military registrations from their country of origin.

Most of these aircraft are recorded on the pages for the operating ADF Service and the rest are recorded here.
