BOC Hobsonville on 01 August 1966 with No.5 Squadron, Whenuapai.
Radio call sign ZMZMA.
Arrived at Whenuapai on 27 October 1966.
Modified to P-3K during late 1980s.
Total flight hours of 18,780 as at November 2003.
Retired from service and flown to Woodbourne 31 January 2023 for storage, and probable parting out.

Arrived Whenuapai on delivery from USA 11 December 1966 (S/L T E Enright)
BOC Hobsonville 04 January 1967 with No.5 Squadron, Whenuapai.
Radio call sign ZMZMF.
Arrived at Whenuapai on 11 December 1966.
Modified to P-3K during late 1980s.
Attended International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford July 1989.
Total flight hours of 20,002 as at November 2003.
Made RNZAF's first Orion flight to the Antarctic from Christchurch16 January 2006, remaining overnight before returning to Christchurch.
Retired from service and flown to Woodbourne 24 September 2021 for storage.
On retirement, aircraft selected for Air Force Museum, was dismantled at Woodbourne and trucked to Christchurch in several loads.
Partially reassembled at Wigram, awaiting a proposed new display space for the Orion and Hercules.

Retired from service and flown to Woodbourne 22 January 2022 for storage and probable parting out.
