Handed over to RNZAF at Burbank, California on 15 August 1966.
BOC Hobsonville on 01 August 1966 with No.5 Squadron, Whenuapai.
Radio call sign ZMZMA.
Arrived at Whenuapai on 27 October 1966.
Modified to P-3K during late 1980s.

Upgraded to P-3K2 standard.
Still in service with No.5 Sqn RNZAF.
Total flight hours of 18,780 as at November 2003.

Retired from active service and flown Whenuapai - Woodbourne, via a tour of South Island towns as well as the Air Force Museum, with NZ4205, 31 January 2023 for retirement and final disposal.

Total flight hours of 19,499 as at November 2003.

Retired from active service and flown Whenuapai - Woodbourne, via a tour of North Island towns , with NZ4201 and 4205, 24 January 2023 for retirement and final disposal.
