NZ5801	HP95\1 Line No.127	First flight on 03 November 1951. Handed over in United Kingdom on 30 January 1952 and delivered to 41 Squadron at Whenuapai 26 March 1952. Radio call sign ZMZAA. To 40 Squadron 08 December 1954. Completed first RNZAF Hastings flight to United Kingdom, departing Whenuapai 07 June 1952. These flights were later completed on a monthly timetable. Flown to UK June 1961 for wing modifications to be carried out by Handley Page at Radlett. Final flight Whenuapai-Ohakea on 02 February 1966. Broken up at Ohakea during February 1971. The flightdeck, engines and other components from the aircraft were presented to MOTAT on 18 February 1971 and are now on display.
NZ5802	HP95\2 Line No.128	Delivered to 41 Squadron at Whenuapai in 1952. Radio call sign ZMZAB. To 40 Squadron on 08 December 1954. Flown to UK October 1961 for wing modifications to be carried out by Handley page at Radlett. Withdrawn from use at Whenuapai May 1965. To storage at Ohakea in February 1966. Broken up at Lower Hutt scrapyard during August 1969.
NZ5803	HP95\3 Line No.129	Delivered to 41 Squadron at Whenuapai in 1952. Radio call sign ZMZAD To 40 Squadron on 08 December 1954. Flown to UK August 1961 for wing modifications to be carried out by Handley page at Radlett. First RNZAF aircraft to fly around the world after delivering a replacement engine to a stranded 40 Squadron DC6. Aircraft arrived back at Whenuapai on 14 September 1962 after flying 25,000 miles in 120 flying hours in the previous 3 weeks and circling the globe east-west. Withdrawn from use at Whenuapai May 1965. To storage at Ohakea in February 1966. Broken up at Lower Hutt scrapyard during August 1969.
NZ5804	HP95\4 Line No.150	Delivered to 41 Squadron at Whenuapai in May 1953, this was the final Hastings to be constructed. Took part in 1953 London-Christchurch Air Race in October 1953. Withdrew after engine failure and emergency landing in Ceylon. To 40 Squadron on 08 December 1954. Crashed on takeoff from Darwin on 09 September 1955 when multiple bird strikes caused power to be lost in 3 engines. All 25 on board survived but aircraft was written off.
