??/02/1943 Captured Castel Benito, Libya by 3 Sqn, RAAF, by Flt Lt Lloyd "Danny" Boardman,
Named "Kitten",
Repaired over a three week period by 3 Sqn personnel,
02/03/1943 First recorded as in use with the Squadron,
20/04/1943 Whilst attempting to start the Caproni Ca.164 the engine blew back, blowing petrol over SGT Rex Ian Palmer 21053 (Electrical Fitter), Tom Russell and Bob Dent put the flames out with their hands, but SGT Palmer was badly burned and died at 11:35 on 21/4/43 at 21 Medical Receiving Station. Sgt Palmer, is buried at Enfidaville War Cemetery, Tunisia.  Plot II, row F, grave 25, Aged 30,
29/05/1943 Last recorded use of the aircraft.
