The Sabre airframe has a fuselage break-point to enable the removal of the engine.
In some cases survivors have inconclusive identities due to the interchanging of front and rear fuselage sections.
With the serial being on the rear fuselage and the construction plate being in the front section we may have a few duplications of assumed identity.
Hopefully this goes some way to explaining why an aircraft can appear to be in two places at once!
