Damaged 23/10/43 at Laverton VIC during landing accident.
Repaired by 1 AD.

Stored at 1 Stores Depot 01/10/46.
To Beaufort Div 19/12/47.
Stored 17/08/48 (SAS).
To ARDU 25/11/48.
The theory of a suction airfoil was tested on DHA Glider A57-1 between 1947 and 1951 with most of the flying being done by Sqn Ldr D.R. Cuming.
Stored 24/07/51 (SAS).
Grounded 06/12/51 at direction of DTS at ARDU.
Stored 05/06/52 at ARDU.
Disposal 17/12/52.
Was used at some time for test on the Griffith suction wing, 
After alteration by the Government Aircraft Factory was fitted with a 96 hp Mercury 59A engine for testing as a GlasII Suction Wing Glider.

Dismantled 22/12/43 and transported by 2 AD.
23/12/43 under repair by 2 AD. T
owing rope broke near Yass NSW 21/01/44, landed in a field and went through a fence, extensive damage.
