Registered VH-AGU 26/04/46 - 06/08/51.
Then VH-WEB 27/06/57 until crashed 06/04/61, Taree NSW with one fatality.
Previously it was believed there were two fatalities.
The pilot survived and went on to have to a successful career in aviation in many different countries.

Highlight for Album: Ryan A50-34

? 452 S-16 S-16 was shipped to Australia from the NEI.
Served with the RAAF - not sure in what way, might have just been stored.
Left Australia in 1947 and was owned by the Hong Kong Aero Training School and flew as VR-HDL until 1954.
Sold to a Norwegian AMT as LN-TVF.
Sold to USAF Colonel James Basset and shipped to the USA - Toledo, Washington and registered N9761 in 1963.
Became VR-HDK and then later sold in the Philippines as PI-C324.
Since November 2002 owned by the Royal Netherlands Air Force Historical Flight.

Highlight for Album: Ryan S-16

n/a 474 S-38 Arrived in Australia in 1942, having escaped the Japanese advance into what is now Indonesia,
It was not given a RAAF A50- serial  but was held as a reserve airframe.
April 1947 it was civilianized as VH-AHE for Brown & Dureau of Melbourne.
By 1952 it was owned by T.A. Tulloh of 'Boulkra'
Station, Cobar NSW, and on 15 November of that year crashed whilst landing at that property.
It then languished until 1999 when it was acquired by Richard J. Simms of Sydney.
A two year rebuild followed,
This aircraft was purchased from Richard Simms and placed on display at Temora Aviation Museum in July 2004,
