Withdrawn from use and sat in the open at Darwin NT.
In 1968 The Australian Aircraft Restoration Group (Moorabbin Air Museum) attempted to buy the aircraft but were told that it was to be returned to airworthiness.
The aircraft deteriorated rapidly in the harsh Darwin climate and rotted away were it stood
It is believed parts salvaged exist in NSW so hopefully it may make a Lazarus like return one day.
